Monthly Prayer Meeting

In addition to our regular weekly Saturday morning prayer meetings (8:30am in the Twrgwn Room every Saturday), we have a monthly mid-week evening prayer meeting for the whole congregation. All are warmly encouraged to attend. The meetings usually take place in the chapel, on different nights of the week to give people with other regular commitments a chance to attend. The meetings start at 7:30pm and last about an hour. On the week when the prayer meeting is on, our homegroups do not meet.

The date of the next monthly prayer meeting is Tuesday 7th April. The date of the following meeting is still to be confirmed.

Prayer and Panad

Once a month, the men of Penrallt have a chance to meet together to pray for one another. The meeting usually takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30am in the Twrgwyn Room. It lasts for about an hour. After we have prayed, we go across the road for a cup of coffee.

The next Prayer & Panad meeting will be on Wednesday 1st April 2020.

Care Home Services

Once a month, a team from Penrallt visits Haulfre, a care home in Llangoed (near Beaumaris), to take a short service for the residents. The services are usually on the first Sunday afternoon of the month. You are very welcome to join us. We are particularly in need of musicians and Welsh speakers.

There will be no service in March. The next service is due to be on Sunday 5th April. From now on we will be starting slightly earlier than previously, at 2pm; the service usually lasts around half an hour. Please contact the church office to confirm the date or or if you would like more information or would like to join the team.

Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is free and runs over a period of about 10 weeks. Alpha is a great place to relax, make friends, have fun, and learn, in a non-threatening environment. Each session begins with a meal together, followed by a talk and group discussions. All (people and questions) are welcome.

We currently have an Alpha Course running at Penrallt on Monday evenings in our church building, starting at 7pm. The course began on Monday 27th January and will run weekly until just before Easter. It is possible to join (or to come and try it out) any time in the first few weeks. If you would like to know more about Alpha, please email the Alpha team or visit our Facebook Alpha page.
